Leaving the Rock
Updated: 3 days ago

A young cub holds tight to his rock. It's warm, it's familiar, and it's all he's ever known. He's comfortable there, and he's scared of what waits beyond it.
He knows the day is coming when he has to jump. Life is out there past the grass, under that rising sun, and the only way to meet it is to let go. That's the lesson every one of us has to learn: you have to leave what's comfortable to get uncomfortable, so you can be comfortable again, only smarter than you were before.
The rock will always be there. But growth never is until you step off it.
